John F. Kennedy said, “let us think of education as the
means of developing our greatest abilities because in each of us there is a
private hope and dream, which when fulfilled, can be translated into
benefit for everyone and greater strength for all.” Thus, making sure that
the poor, less privileged, and handicapped children have access to learn
how to read and write is a priority for VOCI. VOCI has funded over
200 children and teenagers in various schools and institutions in Nigeria.
Harnessing and developing children and youths who are endowed with
academic talents but do not have the means of reaching their potentials
is another focus area for VOCI. VOCI provides them with career
counselling services, information sharing and scholarships for higher
education, both in Nigeria and abroad.

VOCI donates educational materials to children in primary
and secondary schools within rural communities. Teaching materials are
also provided to rural schools.
